6.	PIN Security System To keep unauthorized individuals from accessing your account, we have instituted a PIN security system: If your PIN is entered incorrectly three consecutive times, the user is "locked out" of hvbonline for 24 hours. Your account is not accessible via hvbonline throughout this 24-hour lockout period.
7.	Automatic Log-Off If you are logged on to hvbonline, but do not perform an activity for 10 minutes, you will not be able to proceed until you "re-log" on to the system.
8.	Additional Security Measures In addition to the above safeguards, we have sophisticated firewalls and an authentication process to protect our system from unauthorized individuals.
Protect your hvbonline account information While Hocking Valley Bank works to protect your banking privacy, you will also play an important role in protecting your accounts. There are a number of steps you can take to ensure that your account information is protected:
1.	Don't reveal your hvbonline User ID or PIN to anyone else. These numbers are designed to protect your account information, but they will only work if you keep them private.
2.	Change your hvbonline PIN frequently.
3.	Don't leave your computer if you're in the middle of an hvbonline banking session.
4.	Once you've finished your hvbonline banking session, sign off before visiting other Internet sites.
5.	If you notice any suspicious or unusual activity related to your accounts, contact us immediately.

Hocking Valley Bank is committed to making your hvbonline banking experience safe and secure. We have taken the following measures to ensure your privacy:

1.	Information Encoding We have used the latest encoding technology to ensure that your private information cannot be intercepted. Encryption is a way to rewrite something in code, which can be decoded later with the right "key." When you request information about your accounts, the encrypted message is sent to Hocking Valley Bank. We decode your request and send the requested information back to you, also in an encrypted format. When you receive the information, it is decoded so that you can read it.
2.	Personally Selected Account Names Hocking Valley Bank does not display your account numbers over the Internet. Instead, we choose a "pseudo" name for each of your accounts that you, too, can change in the "Options" section of hvbonline. If you decide to amend the "pseudo" name we've used for your account, we strongly encourage you to adopt the bank's approach to online security and refrain from using your account number or personal information.
3.	Individual ID & PIN Information In order to access hvbonline, you must enter a unique User ID and PIN.
4.	Unique "Watermark" All hvbonline users are also required to choose a unique "watermark" that authenticates the login page for him/her. Before entering ID and PIN, you should make sure that the photo you have selected appears on the left-hand side of the login screen as this confirms that you are on the bank's authenticated site.
5.	Unique "Multi-Factor Authentication" In addition to User ID and PIN and the watermark selection explained above, hvbonline users are also required to set up a third layer of online banking security called Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). During this set-up, which is a randomized process that occurs within the first few hvbonline login attempts, users are required to initialize three security questions and provide answers known only to him or her. The user may also provide up to four telephone numbers that can be used for an automated call back procedure to authenticate a transaction that is about to take place in the event the bank's online banking security system deems the transaction to be unusual for the customer. Setting up MFA is a single, one-time process unless a user chooses to amend authentication data at a later time.
